Terms of Service

Scope and acceptance

Effective date: 1 August 2026. These Terms of Service describe the SlinkyBot service family: the Discord bot, the browser-based WebUI, bot-generated content, and integrations used with participating Discord servers (together, the “Services”). By adding, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to follow these terms, Discord's requirements, and the rules of the relevant server. These terms apply worldwide, subject to mandatory consumer and other rights that apply where you live. Do not use the Services if you do not accept these conditions.

Server authorization and responsibility

A server owner or authorized administrator may add the bot and enable WebUI or integration features only when permitted to act for that server. Participating servers remain responsible for their rules, configuration, role and channel access, bot permissions, staff appointments, submitted administrator content, moderation instructions, and decisions made with the Services. Administrators are responsible for any server-specific notices and permissions required for their configuration.

Conarx provides tools and does not become the owner, operator, or moderator of each participating server merely because that server uses SlinkyBot. Server staff must review their settings and outputs and must not treat the Services as a replacement for responsible human judgment.

Accounts, sessions, and permissions

Discord accounts are used for identity and WebUI access. You must be authorized to use your account, keep it and your browser session secure, and accept responsibility for activity through them. Do not share a session or use another person's account without authorization. Access depends on server membership, moderation status, assigned roles, current permissions, and configuration, and can change or be removed.

Server administrators are responsible for granting only the bot permissions needed for selected features and for reviewing those permissions after configuration changes. Revoking permissions or removing the bot can make features unavailable. A permission grant allows the Services to perform the configured operation; it does not guarantee that every operation will be successful, accurate, or available.

Acceptable use

You must not use the Services to:

• Break applicable law, Discord's terms or policies, or the rules of a participating server.
• Harass, threaten, exploit, impersonate, defraud, or violate the rights or privacy of another person.
• Submit unlawful, malicious, infringing, deceptive, or knowingly false content.
• Bypass authentication, permissions, rate limits, moderation controls, or other security measures.
• Disrupt, overload, probe, scrape, reverse engineer, or automate access to non-public parts of the Services except when authorized or permitted by applicable law.
• Distribute malware, collect credentials, interfere with other users, or use outputs to cause unlawful harm.

User and administrator submissions

You are responsible for content and information you submit or configure, including messages, appeal text, ticket content and attachments, embeds, URLs, rules, staff manuals, automod patterns, giveaway details, and other server materials. You must have the rights and authority needed to provide them, and they must comply with applicable requirements.

You keep any ownership you have in your submissions. You give the project owner, the Services, and authorized server staff permission to host, process, reproduce, format, transmit, display, and retain them as reasonably needed to operate, secure, administer, and improve the configured Services and server workflows. The project owner must obtain legal advice before publishing the final scope and duration of this permission.

Automation and AI limitations

Bot rules, filters, calculations, invite attribution, generated content, and AI-assisted automod can be incomplete, delayed, unavailable, or wrong and can produce false positives or false negatives. AI automod can send relevant information to the official OpenAI API, as described in the Privacy Policy. Users and server staff must review important outputs and remain responsible for actions taken from them. The Services must not be treated as professional advice or as the sole basis for a high-impact decision.

Moderation and appeals

The Services can record moderation actions and provide tools to submit, review, accept, or reject ban appeals. Authorized server staff make moderation and appeal decisions under their server's rules. An appeal does not guarantee review by a specific time, reinstatement, access, or any particular outcome. Server staff are responsible for fair access, review, notes, reasons, and final decisions. The project owner can restrict abusive or unsafe use of these tools but does not promise to resolve disputes between users and participating servers.

Third-party services and links

The Services depend on Discord and can depend on deployment-specific hosting, database, cache, network, logging, security, and external AI providers. Those services have their own terms, privacy policies, limits, and availability. The project owner does not control them, and an outage, API change, enforcement action, or account restriction can affect SlinkyBot. External links and integrations do not mean the project owner endorses or guarantees third-party content or services.

Premium subscription and payments

SlinkyBot Premium is a $49.95 USD monthly recurring subscription. Stripe processes payments through Stripe Checkout, which determines and displays applicable taxes. By starting a subscription, you authorize the recurring commercial arrangement presented at checkout, subject to these terms and any mandatory rights that apply to you. Stripe's own terms and policies also apply to its payment services.

Cancel by following the cancellation instructions made available at purchase or through the subscription-management process. If you cannot access that process, contact contact@conarx.tech. Cancellation stops future renewals, subject to the timing and terms shown at cancellation and mandatory law; it does not automatically create a refund for a period already paid.

We do not offer voluntary refunds. We can correct duplicate or erroneous charges where appropriate, and nothing in these terms limits mandatory refund, cancellation, withdrawal, or other consumer rights. A failed or reversed payment can result in Premium access being suspended or removed, and entitlement can end when a subscription is canceled, expires, charged back, or is otherwise not successfully paid, subject to applicable law. A chargeback or payment dispute can require us to review the transaction and suspend related entitlement while the issue is addressed.

Changes, suspension, and termination

Features, integrations, permissions, limits, and eligibility can change. Conarx can restrict, suspend, or discontinue access to some or all Services to maintain security, respond to abuse or legal requirements, address technical risk, handle failed payment or chargeback activity, or stop operating a feature. Discord or a server administrator can also remove access. We will provide notice or remedies where required by applicable law; otherwise, these terms promise no service level or advance notice.

Ownership and permitted use

The software, design, branding, and project-provided materials in the Services belong to Conarx or applicable licensors. Subject to these terms, you may use the Services only for their intended Discord and WebUI functions. Nothing transfers ownership of the Services or grants permission to use project branding. Bot-generated output can include user, administrator, Discord, or automated source material and is not guaranteed to be unique, accurate, or free of third-party rights. You remain responsible for checking that your use of output is lawful and appropriate.

Disclaimers and liability review

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided on an as-available basis without warranties not expressly stated in these terms. They can be interrupted, insecure, delayed, inaccurate, or unavailable, and stored information can be lost or changed. Conarx's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Services is limited to the fees paid by the claimant to Conarx for the Services in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. This limit does not exclude or restrict liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or applicable consumer rights. Mandatory local rights and remedies are preserved.

Age, governing law, and updates

The Services do not set a separate universal minimum age. You must meet Discord's minimum age requirements and any additional age, consent, or access requirements imposed by applicable law or a participating server.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory local consumer rights, protections, or forum rights that apply to you. Conarx can update these terms when the Services, integrations, providers, or applicable requirements change. The effective date in the shared legal header identifies the current version. We will provide notice of material changes where required by applicable law. If you do not accept updated terms, stop using the Services.
